Ecovadis

EcoVadis is a global sustainability rating system for suppliers. The audit verifies how companies manage their environmental, human and supply chain impacts. The result is scorecard (evaluation sheet) and, if the thresholds are met, the medal (Bronze/Silver/Gold/Platinum). The rating is recognised by thousands of companies worldwide and is increasingly a requirement for cooperation with large clients.

What is the assessment about?

EcoVadis analyses company documents and policies and specific indicators in four areas:

  • Environment - emissions, energy, waste, water management, raw materials.
  • Labor & Human Rights - Health and safety, equal opportunities, social dialogue.
  • Ethics - anti-corruption, compliance, data privacy.
  • Sustainable Procurement - supplier requirements, due diligence.

  1. Registration and scope - selection of sectors/branches in the assessment.

  4. Scorecard & medal - scorecard, recommendations, badge for communication.
  5. Follow-up - action plan and annual re-evaluation (continuous improvement).
